✨ October is full of appreciation! ✨

💙 National School Custodial Workers Day earlier this month reminded us to celebrate the dedicated team members who keep our schools clean, safe, and welcoming every single day. Thank you for all you do behind the scenes to make learning possible! 🧹🧼

🍎 It’s also National Principals Month! We’re grateful for our incredible school leaders whose vision, care, and commitment guide our students and staff toward success every day. 👏💛

❤️ Franklin Regional Students Make History on a National Stage! ❤️

Three Franklin Regional students made history as the first team from Pittsburgh invited to attend Blood Cancer United’s Breakthrough Summit in New York City! 🎉

Jenna Muntkittrick, Liam Murphy, and Ryland Kase attended the exclusive two-day event October 8–9 after raising more than $160,000 through their Pittsburgh Student Visionaries of the Year campaign!

The summit brought together top fundraisers and student leaders from across the country to celebrate their impact, connect with fellow changemakers, and learn about the groundbreaking research their efforts help support.

From celebrating champions to hearing directly from scientists about the future of blood cancer research, the experience highlighted the power of young leaders to make a meaningful difference.

We are incredibly proud of Jenna, Liam and Ryland for their dedication, leadership and commitment to this important cause. Their remarkable achievement brings national recognition to our community and demonstrates what is possible when young people unite behind a mission that matters. 💙

Congratulations, Jenna, Liam, and Ryland! You are making a difference and showing that Panther pride and citizenship extend far beyond our community! 🐾 #FRStudentSuccess

🏐 When a gym floor issue threatened to disrupt our scheduled high school volleyball match against Kiski Area on Tuesday, Oct. 13, @SaintVincentCollege stepped up without hesitation!

The team at SVC generously offered their facilities at no cost to the District, allowing our Panthers to keep the game on the schedule.

We are incredibly grateful to Athletic Director DP Harris, Vice President/CEO Dr. Jeff Mallory, Father Paul, and the entire Saint Vincent community for their friendship, generosity, and continued support of Franklin Regional. This is what community is all about! 💙💛
