🦎🔬 Our first graders recently explored animal adaptations and survival through an exciting hands-on activity led by Monica Graziani and her Biotechnology and Anatomy students from the senior high school! 🐾 Serving as mentors, our high school students worked directly with our first graders, extending their learning from the Mystery Science curriculum. 🧪✨This collaboration provided our high school students with an authentic opportunity to practice leadership, scientific communication, and laboratory skills while giving our youngest learners an exciting introduction to the awe of science. 🌱🔬

Most importantly, this experience was a wonderful example of citizenship, where our students learn from one another, serve as mentors, and help build a stronger school community. 💙🐾👏
