FR Community Asked to Show Support for the Class of 2020

Murrysville, PA (May 21, 2020) ~ The Franklin Regional Senior High School is asking the entire Franklin Regional School District (FRSD) community to show their support for the Class of 2020 by decorating their porches, turning on their porch lights and posting congratulatory messages on Friday, June 5, 2020. The FR Class of 2020 members and their families will be participating in the “Celebration of Our Seniors,” a police-escorted vehicle parade beginning at 6:30 PM. The parade route will start at Mother of Sorrows Church, proceed east on Old William Penn Highway, and turn onto School Road. The parade route will then snake through the FR campus and conclude at the campus exit by the FRSD Marquee Sign. The graduates are also encouraged to decorate their vehicles for the parade.  The FRSD campus will be closed to the public. Spectators may sit or stand along the main streets of the parade route to cheer on our seniors.  All spectators are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing and wear masks.
