Welcome to Biology
Right now is an exciting time to be learning about Biology. Technology is rapidly changing the world as we know it. Everyday we hear of new advancements that will forever change how we understand ourselves and interact with others and our environment on this small planet which we call home. Our children must become informed global citizens in order to make decisions about their own health and the health of our environment. It is my hope that students will build a strong foundation of understanding of how our world works in a biological sense - from cells to ecosystems - in order to seek novel solutions to problems that may already exist or arise in the future.
This webpage is a work in progress. If you would like to view the current content of either of the courses that I am teaching for the 2019 - 2020 School year, please go to my FR Moodle page. There you will find information(such as powerpoints, lessons, worksheets) on both my Advanced Placement and Honors Biology classes. I will be working this summer to have both classes updated for the new year.
